Archaic Christianity

Finished with my first reading of Τοις Εγκεκλεισμενοις Επισκοποις, "To the Imprisoned Bishops". I didn't find much of it difficult. It did take a while, however, simply because I was not familiar with much of the vocabulary.

But now comes the hard part, putting it into good English. The most difficult part of this will be the translation of his abstract terms, many of which have multiple different attested meanings. Though I have a good idea about most, there are a few that I am finding irksome. The syntax is not very difficult, fortunately.

Will check in again on this project when I've made some progress.
