Dear reader, if you are a fan of strategy games like Civilization, I have a recommended (and free) game for you. It is called Ikariam. A few coworkers and I are playing the game and are creating an alliance. You should join us. If you are interested, join on the "Ny" server and shoot me an email so we can chat and collaborate.

Looks interesting!

You know I'm a Mac nut (got my first Mac in 1987), and I've always thought that the best computer game I've ever played was Dark Castle/Return to Dark Castle (the series).

Well, I downloaded this on Wednesday (everything's in color now).

Now I don't even want to come to work!

I had a look at it, and it did look good. but i'm already addicted to one internet game (almost 4 years), so I think I'll save my sanity and time...

TMP: Yes...games can cause obsession. I'm sure you need another, so join :)

D&T: During breaks, sure. But it's not generally a real-time game where you have to be involved all of the time. After the first few stages of building a city it involves a lot of setting things in motion and waiting a while for resources to be gathered and whatnot.

Seumas: What game are you playing? Can I guess? Is it WOW?
