The Text Browser
This section of the site is for hosting texts. Generally these will be from older sources but you never know. These texts are broken up into two sections, or categories. There is the full text section and the text snippet section.
I am still thinking about the best way to navigate through and search this data. I probably won't know the best way until I get more data. If you have any suggestions for navigation, let me know. I started a bread-crumb navigation piece which I will probably put in. That will at least let you go backwards easily as you dig into the data. But we will see what happens.
Digitized Texts
This full text section will be for large chunks of text. As much as possible full texts of the work will be put up on the site. Sometimes this will not be the case because the process of digitization is incomplete.
These are texts that I have digitized or annotated. All digitizations and translations are released into the public domain.
My current projects are a digitization of Chariton's Chaereas and Callirhoe (at least part of it, anyway) and Pseudo-Lucian's The Ass. Any other suggestions are welcome. Anything Hellenistic or from the Fathers is a prime candidate. Obviously there is plenty of material to choose from.

Snippet Browser
The text snippet browser section is for smaller portions of text and are categorized by author (dead and living, though more often from dead) and work and are tagged. This portion of the text is primarily for me, dear reader, but I hope you get some use out of it. I wanted to do this electronically and store it somewhere that the data would be safe, so to put it here made sense. My hoster keeps regular backups (I have the best hoster) so I don't have to worry about loosing my work. I hope it will be useful for others as well. At the very least, this will put more text on the web that the search engines can find and index.
