No More Travelling

I am finally back at home. While at SBL I missed my family and my study. While in SE Texas I missed my study. It is so nice to be able to sit in my super-groovy study room in my super-comfy recliner. So nice.
It is also nice to be back from the land of dial-up internet. Having to wait 15 seconds for web pages to come up is just horrible! It's like going back into the stone ages. But since I was not preoccupied with the niceties of the internet I did get some good reading done. More on that soon. Tonight my time will be spent hangin' with the wife and preparing for Sunday School tomorrow.
James McGrath
It was nice meeting you face to face, and I'm glad you got home safely. Alas, for me this was a return to dial up... :)
Mike
Welcome home.
Eric
Thanks to both of you. And James, I am so sorry you have to live with dial up. It is such a crime!
Patrick Gardella
Welcome home!
Great meeting you in Boston!
Now can we see a picture of that "super-groovy study room" and "super-comfy recliner"? Sounds like a recipe for a nice nap :)

Eric
...hmmm...I'll have to do that. I'll see if I can get those pics up in the next day or so.

Yup, I know the feeling. I'm spoiled to my high-backed executive chair and 26 inch tv computer monitor, to say nothing of my cable modem. The slow computers at work drive me to distraction.
Eric
My main awesome computer these days is a laptop, so I was actually able to bring it. But that's only a piece of the fun that is my study.
Chuck Grantham
So stop teasing us and show us some photos already!
The suspense is terrible; I hope it lasts.
Chuck Grantham
I'd buy a laptop but can't see I would use it too much.
Besides, not buying even a cheapo Walmart laptop leaves money for lots of books. Even two Brill titles.
Eric
Laptops are great if you need to do stuff on the go. If you don't...then laptops aren't as useful. But it's nice to be able to do a little bit of work anywhere around the house. I don't do it frequently, but when I do it is nice.
